How to track packages in real-time in order to save time and make customers happier.

Your Shop Local Store has a new feature: You (and your customers) can now easily see real-time shipping status for an order. Your Store displays the current shipping status (in transit, delivered, etc.) and the complete tracking history for the order.
Before this update, one had to view the shipping service’s website (e.g FedEx.com) to view its status. Now, you or shoppers can view all orders' real-time status on your Shop Local Store and in emails.
How to encourage registry customers to purchase from a registry by sharing previous gift givers' names
February 16, 2023
Your Bridge Store has an updated feature to encourage customers to complete a registry purchase. Your Bridge Store displays gift givers' names on a registry's list.
Previously, the gift givers' names were only displayed by rolling over "Purchases" at the top of a registry list.
Now, the gift givers are also displayed in a box at the footer of a registry's list.
In the example shown, we see a registry list at The Ivy House, a fine china store in Dallas. At the ...

Your Bridge Store now makes customers more likely to complete a purchase. Your Bridge Store displays a banner when checking out sharing how many customers have placed orders with your store. In a recent NY Times article about working out, the author Christie Aschwanden gives readers tips on how to make working out more enjoyable. (Read the article: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/19/well/move/habits-motivation-exercise.html). In reading this, I saw many parallels between working out and helping our stores get their websites ‘in shape.’ The author encourages readers to not think of working out as exercise and instead think of it as "hanging out with friends...

Saks Fifth Avenue just launched a new website. Since more than 600 stores rely on Bridge Store to power their websites, I decided to compare the new site, which likely cost millions of dollars, to an indie retailer's Bridge Store software. An indie store pays pennies compared to Saks' millions, so the Saks site must be a million times better, right?
After a careful review, I'm happy to share that our indie stores have the better website. And, it sort of 'saks' for Saks that it spent millions ...

Are your store displays 'frozen' in time? Compare Target and Kohl's Frozen 2 displays.
Retail Dive shares this observation:
A "Frozen 2" display at Target (top photo) fosters discovery, while the same goods at Kohl's (pictured lower) are stacked efficiently. "The two photographs say everything about how those companies operate," says retail consultant Sanford Stein.
How do you compete with Amazon on its own turf? Seattle-based retailer Timothy De Clue promotes its website offering thousands of products. The store displays its Bridge decal on its front door: "Shop 1,000's of Gifts Online."
Need a decal? Just ask us. We'll mail you a 'Shop 1,000's' decal for free.
Thanks to Courtney at The Containery in Texas for this pic of her store displaying the Bridge decal. She placed the decal promoting her Bridge website next to her existing 'Shop Local' decal. Good idea ;)
How about showing wedding magazines next to your tableware in your store? Away, a luggage brand, displays National Geogrpahic next to its luggage.
